Today, my scanner started locking on 859.71250, which I believe is the Pryor DPS trunked repeater.

I haven't heard any communications, but the control channel is coming in strong 4 miles north of Pryor. Hopefully I will start hearing traffic on it. I haven't heard any one talking on the Vinita repeater yet either.

I went through the Mayes Co area and there is a GREAT signal on that site. I had it on 412 east from Tulsa for a long time this week. The route into Mayes CO from I-44 (through the Claremore area) is very well covered as well and the signal strength is 100 percent all over the Mayes CO area. That site is situated on a mountain and it's coverage is stellar.

I just wish that the OKC site was as thorough as that one. The OKC site comes off a tower about 1000ft tall but that just barely gets them out of the hole that they built it in so the coverage is not near as thorough. At one point during testing I could receive the Moore site better than the much closer OKC site. Of course having the hills around the Mayes CO area helps alot too.

Vinita is booming into Pryor today too.

Just FYI, the Pryor site is showing up as Site # 10 on the State system and is still in a site trunking mode.
