For research purposes, I have a bunch of DMR frequencies programmed into conventional channels on my SDS100/x536HP with:

- the channel name = " mmm.kkkkMHz" so the scanner will work like it does in Quick Search mode, displaying the Nt: S: TG: U: info if it hears any data [is there an official name for this mode?]

- the color code is set to the respective repeater's CC

With one exception, this more or less works. Let's say I have a frequency that has two repeaters on it, one with CC=1 and one with CC=2. I have them programmed into two channels that only differ by CC.

If the scanner is on the CC=1 channel and the CC=1 repeater goes active, the scanner will both display the Nt: S: TG: U: display and also play audio; this is expected behavior.

If, however, the scanner is on the CC=1 channel but the CC=2 repeater goes active, for me expected behavior is to do nothing at all. Instead, the scanner will display the Nt: S: TG: U: display from the "wrong" repeater (although not play audio).

Is it supposed to work this way? It makes it impossible to tell what TGs are on which repeater: the scanner is sitting there saying "Color 1" but actually displaying TG and UID info from a repeater that is not sending CC1 but instead is sending CC2.

Not sure why you would bother doing this with the SDS100. Program the frequency only once set for search, and detail display mode will show color code and all the rest.

Because I'm not interested in hearing anything coming from one of the two repeaters, if it matters.
