On PSIC Statecom6c it's appearing as if there was some kind of VIP that came through today. Just listened to most of the traffic. At the end of it the "commander and chief" of the "Dragoons" came on the air thanking everyone telling everyone they can remove their vests and return their weapons and depart from work and to return their weapons as he doesn't trust anyone with them..and to have a great night and never let what happened today happen again tomorrow. Anyone know what's up on Statecom6c? And what are the Dragoons?
After Sandy it seems as if the Statecoms are being used for mostly operations . Bayhead / Seaside & also in Brick.

StateCom 6 Central has been being used by the National Guard since the storm,StateCom 3 North is being used by NJSP for their ops.

Dragoons are light cavalry units. The National Guard has been using Statecom talk groups while operating on the barrier islands in the wake of Sandy. It's SOP to return vests and weapons after any operation, I don't know what the don't let it happen again thing was all about but it sounds like somebody screwed up.
