So I've been working only SSB for the last couple of years. I'm getting more interested digital modes due to the difficult band conditions but I'm not sure which ones are still popular. I know that just a few years ago PSK31 was the go to mode for keyboard to keyboard, is that still true? I seem to be hearing mostly FT8 which, as I understand it, really isn't designed for QSO's but just "Contacts." I'd like to hear from any amateurs that are currently working digital modes. What are you currently using?

You can still find PSK31 on 7,070 every so often. RTTY is almost never on unless there is a contest. Thanks to K9wkj for putting up that link
to JBSCALL. I had no idea it even existed.

You'll hear some Olivia especially among ARES groups. Usually on 80m.

I've made several contacts on PSK-31 in the last few months, especially on 20M. Check PSK Reporter to see what is being used out there and it seems PSK-31 is not that far behind JS8CALL on number of ham. I use both but it seems I pick up more PSK-31 contacts lately. Don't really like FT8 since I like to chat.
