I'll never get used to encryption even though it's been 4 years now, I don't monitor fire dispatch in that New Britain area but they're doing quite a few orbits.
PA state police helos tend to use the old national frequency.
I was listening to ULaw31 155.475 pl 156.7 on Berks TRS tgid 6005; but did not hear the ground units, only the helo.

That makes sense, monitor 123.025, Chopper might announce location and intentions while in PA airspace.

Only news Chopper in the air right now is Skyfox 29 talking with news desk and hanging in the Northeast Philly/CC area.

So skyforce 10 has joined Sky Fox to cover protest at City Hall.. either Pro Palestinian anti-israel or anti-ice, who knows, choppers are complaining about high winds and looks like they're moving on.. you can follow them on news Chopper air-to-air One.. 135.875. The chopper air-to-air two frequency from New York has been very busy also.
We have also had a military helicopter orbiting the Northeast for a while, labeled 72281 a EC45 maybe looking for debris. In addition we have the usual Medvect flights in and out of all the hospitals and other traffic. Busy busy times.
I'm anti-ice too. Hate having to scrape it off my car every morning before work. Cmon spring!

Being I'm a school district employee snow's only good when it gets me the day off. After that, sick of looking at it. Doesn't look like that'll be the case this time with a "wintry mix". If anything it'd probably delay us

Interesting that the green machine Fox.. just left Sterling service center in Bristol after making an announcement on 123.025.. got right on news chopper 1 and said anybody up here, channel 10 is orbiting the big fire in Abington which has reignited.
Very funny and entertaining dialogue between the two of them. Sky Fox news desk sent the green machine on an assignment.
I haven't seen PSP in this neck of the woods since the last time we talked about it. They tend to use Philly chopper in my area if needed.

Looks like green machine Fox 29 did not go to the fire and has landed but now we have three Choppers orbiting Abington fire, channel 10, 3 and 6.
Great chatter going on right now.. 135.875.. they say that the entire borough of Jenkintown has been shut down and cordoned off.
Busy day.. conversation has switched over to position coordination, a little crowded up there. High winds.
