With M/A OpenSky looming over the Commonwealth, I noticed that I have not received all comms on some VHF frequencies, so I'm trying to correct some errors. Does any colleague know what Channel G is currently? I have three printouts giving different information. The RR database gives 155.44500 with no repeater input; another printout gives 155.790/159.030 and neither are in my scanner. Help!

3 lists that I have show it as 155.4450 MHz S (PL 186.2 Hz), but a 4th list that I have shows it as 155.4450 MHz B (PL 186.2 Hz) with a mobile frequency of 155.7900 MHz. I don't think it's repeated.

Channel G is active in my area. It is 155.4450 MHz S (PL 186.2 Hz) B&M Simplex. I also do not believe it is repeated elsewhere.

Capt clint do you agree with the mobile frequency of 155.790?
No, that is now simplex TAC-3 PL 123.0. It used to be the mobile TX for Channel A. I have not personally heard any traffic on TAC-3, but it appears that way on a couple of trusted lists. Channel G is the only main Barracks channel that is simplex for both base and mobile.

Also, looking at the RR info, I believe 155.79 should be changed to TAC-3, and 154.90500 should be listed at TAC West. Since I am not in the west, this should probably be confirmed before you change it.

The Turnpike PL's are incorrect with the recent changes. They should probably be deleted as they are covered in more detail under the Tpke section.

I agree with all your opservations because I do have those frequencies programmed correctly. I believe the or a moderator of this forum is scan-pa. Please, sir, update your web site. Your site was one that gave incorrect information regarding Channel G.

Hellow Dave. Typically frequencies are traditional listed as repeater out/repeater in, but that's an unwritten protocol. I tend to disagree with the PTC as given.

Frequency Input Type Tone CH Description Mode
159.04500 156.19500 RM 136.5 PL District 1 FM
159.07500 156.22500 RM 94.8 PL District 2 FM
159.04500 156.19500 RM 94.8 PL District 3 FM
159.07500 156.22500 RM 136.5 PL District 4 FM
159.04500 156.19500 RM 136.5 PL District 5 FM

Refer to the RR database. Yes 1 and 3 have the same output 159.04500, but different PLs.

Hello,
I was unaware there were different input freqs, what are they?

We do not have the ability to publich differetn PL's for inputs / outputs so we list the output only.

Dave,

It looks like a number of us are coming up w/ agreement on a switch of PSP TAC freqs 155.79 and 154.905 to reflect the following:

155.79 simplex PL 123.0 = TAC-3

154.905 simplex PL 123.0 = TAC West

Also....does anyone know for certain, the pairing for "E" ? The RR database shows 154.695 & 156.15.....but the list I cite above & my notes from other sources would suggest 154.695 & 154.905.

I never get to monitor 155.790 here in the Philly area as Elkton MD uses it as a rptr out with the same PL and it covers a huge area.

I will get a current copy of the RSS Freq File from a PSP troopers Radio this week.

I will then update the Database with this info.

PSP G Channel is 155.445. There is no repeater for this channel, base and mobile are on the same freq. I know this because PSP Embreeville operates on this channel.

The above referenced frequencies that also appear on this site's database are correct. For scanning purposes Districts 1, 3 and 5 have the same output, but 3 has a different PL than 1 and 5. 2 and 4 have the same output but different PLs. I monitor them daily. The PTC mobile-mobile (not the PSP) no longer has a common squelch.
