PSR-100 Question

Does the radio come with a programming cable? If not will the PSR-500/600 cable work with it? Is there software available to program this radio?

The radio does not come with a cable. The radio is so easy to program you really don't need software or a cable at all. I've had mine for several months and always programed it by hand, it is a great scanner if you don't need trunking. GRE made a really good product when they created the psr-100.

Found SW, but what about cable?

OK, now that I know where to get SW for the scanner, what about the programming cable? Can I use the PSR-500 or 600 cable?

The PSR-500 or 600 cable will work with the PSR-100.

The USB programming cable made br GRE and or Radio Shack worked just fine for me when using the PSR-100 software. Enjoy...
