PSR-300... a beginner needs help with trunking!

Ok, I have been hesitant to post because I've seen other threads get snarky really quickly, but am in bad need of help programming.

Here's what I've got:
- PSR-300 (Boot version GF1.00 and Appl version 1.08) but don't know rebanding status
- USB to PC/IF cable that works to program
- ARC300's newest, but time limited demo version, because I can't find anywhere to pay to download the non time limited version.
- Premium RR subscription.

Here's what I've been able to successfully accomplish so far:
- Updated the Appl version to 1.08
- Import directly from RR into ARC300
- Upload ARC300 programming into the scanner.

Conventional channels are working just fine, it's the trunked systems where the issues lie.

Live in Arkansas but work/travel in Tennessee and am a huge Memphis Fire buff (using 5-0 Radio app to stream them currently, the main reason for wanting a trunking scanner) so hoping to scan:
- Memphis Fire
System Type: Motorola Type II SmartZone
System Voice: Analog and APCO-25 Common Air Interface
- AWIN (Arkansas) and Nashville Metro (Tennessee)
System Type: Project 25 Phase I
System Voice: APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive
- TCAN (Tennessee(
System Type: Project 25 Phase II
System Voice: APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive

So far when scanning I've picked up no traffic on any of the trunked banks and have no traffic when selecting specific talkgroups.

Have been looking forward to having a trunking scanner for a LONG time and am hoping that someone may have some suggestions or help so it can be enjoyed to its fullest.

those sites that you want to monitor are digital trunking systems which your radio wont decode.

PSR-300

... so hoping to scan:

The PSR-300 can only monitir the TGs that are analog.

System Voice: APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive

The PSR-300 can NOT scan these as they are P25.

Since what you want to monitor is Phase II, you'll find there is a short list of scanners presently that can monitor them.

Memphis PD and FD are P25 just as the Shelby County SO and FD are P25. That means a PSR-500/600 Whistler WS-1040 or WS-1065 or better scanner
