PSR-310 New User Question

I am delving into the world of scanning radios, and cannot seem to figure out a problem I have encountered. I am using PREdit310, and I initially added a trunking group (WESTCOM) used by the West Des Moines, Iowa police department. Noticing that when monitoring that group, it would be desirable to monitor only the police department activity, eliminating any others also using the WESTCOM system. So I created four Talkgroups corresponding to the five police talkgroups, and eliminated the WILDCARD! entry. But I am unable to figure out how to get the radio to scan those five talkgroups...I can only select them individually on the radio and listen to the talkgroups one at a time...

Did you assign those talkgroups to a scanlist?

Yes, I have all five of the Talkgroups in my Scanlist 01. So it seems that I need to review the manual further and determine how to instruct the radio to scan the channels on Scanlist 01. Thanks for the response.

ok, once you hit the "scan button"... you need to enable the scanlist by pressing "1" on your keypad.
