PSR-400 owners, I have a ???

Can someone who ownes a PSR-400 tell me about the audio quality and where the speaker is located in the unit. Is it a down firing speaker and how does it sound? I currently own a Pro-433 and it performs great, I really like it. But the speaker is located on the bottom of the unit and I don't like that very much as the sound can sound muffled. I am currently using an external speaker and it is much better. Also if anyone can compare these two scanners together (Psr-300 vs Pro-433) please post your comments. I am considering purchasing a new base scanner and I need opinions.

Yes, it has a speaker on the bottom. The audio sounds great. The PSR-300 is also a great scanner and is an upgrade to the older PRO-97.
