This is a long shot I have to admit but here goes. Is it possible for the PSR-500/600 to sound an alarm when an actual Alert is sent by the control channel to specific radio ID's (in the TG ID field/slot)?

I'm not sure if all counties do this however Weld county sends Alerts via the control channel to specific radio IDs when fire/EMS calls are dispatched. Notice in the below example how the dispatch terminal 100211 sent alerts to the following "radio" IDs (populated in the TG ID field/slot): 527458, 527437, 527446, 527449, 527451, 527452, 527453, 529093, 528459, 528266.

Edit - I just realized this should be in the "GRE Scanners" thread if a moderator could move. Thx!

It appears the PSR-500/600 is missing the selection of "Alert" as a type of talkgroup. Currently, the PSR-500/600 only supports "Group" and "Private" however not "Alert" as a valid type of talkgroup.
