What does the "spcl" option do for Spectrum Sweeper?

The PDF manual refers to it in the Expert menu on page 110, but does not clarify what turning it on or off will change.

If the 1 MHz sweep indicates that activity is present, when set to 'On', Special Stalker/Sweeper sweeps the whole 1 MHz range to find the source. If you lockout 5 frequencies within a 1 MHz segment, the scanner will skip that entire segment in subsequent sweeps.
See
SpclStalkLmt in the 'Expert Settings' menu to change the (default 5) number of frequencies within a 1 MHz segment.

I think I understand, but the clarification requires further clarification.

Special OFF - SS sweeps in 1 MHz steps. If rf energy is detected, then SS does a fine sweep of that 1 MHz range.

Special ON - As above, but SS skips any 1 MHz range containing 5 (default number) locked out frequencies.

Is that what the manual is trying to say?
