I leave my PSR-500 scanning TX DPS which is 3 VHF conventional P25 frequencies. I also have a Pro-96 scanning the same thing because I didn't think I was hearing everything. Well I was right. Sometimes while scanning, my PSR-500 won't pick up a VHF P25 channel, while the pro-96 does. But if I put the PSR-500 in manual mode it starts to pick it right up. Anybody know what the problem could be. I don't have a NAC code entered and have it on NAC search. Also while scanning, sometimes I miss short transmissions (I guess this has the same thing to do with the above).

Ok go to the scanlist you have the freqs in and then select the PGM then EDIT THEN CURR SCROLL down to Sq MODE and select SEARCH then save.
