I'm trying to program a GRE PSR-500 with the SAFE-T network. This is probably a stupid question, but I have the options of setting the radio for MOT 800-900, or P-25.

Which do I select for SAFE-T. I'm probably stupid, but I thought MOT 800 was P-25?

Mot 800 & P25 are different, there is Mot 800 analog & digital, the digital is either 3600 or 9600 baud, 3600 which is what SAFET is has to be programmed as Mot 800, while Indy's new system is 9600 so it would be programmed as P25. The scanner will automatically determine whether the CC is digital or analog on the Mot 3600 baud system.... confused yet?

You only program the control channels BTW. Control channel only is the default (only?) mode for programming the Motorola Type II system.

It doesn't matter if you program the voice channels or not, but I do, if the controller goes all you have left is voice channels, the scanner will always find the CC whether or not the voice channels are present.

If you are monitoring several different SAFE-T towers, how are you entering TG's that are duplicates for each tower? I thought I had it all figured out, but I evidently do not. I thought I could add them to the lists of the other towers (TSYS) but that must not be the case.
