PSR 500 CC problem

I noticed on some trunk systems the Talk Group will show up but be no talking but be stuck than the CC sound come on and while scanning the CC sound will come stuck with the noise. I keep hitting scan button and keeps getting stuck is there a setting I missed on the software?

Is it possible that you have not set up the trucking system properly and have the systems control frequencies configured as conventional frequencies.
That's the only thing I can imagine causing this type of behavior while scanning.

The freqs are in order and it set up for trunking. Its 900 system. I noticed it will do that once awhile on 800 also.

It could be interference from another radio source. It happens to me when band conditions are open.
I have a troublesome voice channel frequency that is shared by another system, that should be out of range on a normal day, that will cause this to happen.
