PSR 500 Help

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and have a question. I have the RS PSR-500 and have downloaded the databases to it. I still cannot hear the local city police. I live in Peru. Can anyone shed light on this for me? I tried going to the local RS but they do not know anything.

Need a little more info before we can assist you.
What software are you using? Did you import it from the RR Database?
Did you import the SAFE-T System or local VHF or what?

I d/l ARC 500 program, and imported from RR database, the SAFE-T system. I then imported all I could from RR for my county, (Miami) and everything else I could think of. I don't know where to find the VHF. Peru is digital but not trunked I think.

In ARC500 select Miami County, then Select Trunk Systems Tab then Safe-T in Trunk Systems.
Go to Scanlist Tab to select a scanlist number.
Keep Trunk and Alpha Tags at default
Then select the correct tower site for Miami (Peru) then Miami County Talkgroups.

This setup brought in 1 frequency and 14 TGRP Objects to the scanlist I selected.
