Recently I was trying to get this system trunk for me:...

Capital Region Emergency Services Telecom (CREST) Trunking System, Victoria, British Columbia - Scanner Frequencies

I was entering the freq as it says example: 142.410 but it kept defaulting to 142.4125... what am I doing wrong?

Also for P25 systems what the difference if I program it P25 auto or manual? thanks!

I'm confused... are you trying to program this system as P25, or as MOT VHF / UHF?

And P25 Auto is based off of a standardized trunking table, where as P25 Manual is, well, not a standardized trunking table and thus you need to input it manually.

I was able to import that system just fine into Win500, so it's odd that it keeps forcing you differently. Have you updated it to the latest firmware, in the event this is a bug from older versions?

I'm programming this as P25 auto... I don't use the programming software I just do it right from the radio. but, even then I go to "tune" and input the freq manually it still will default to 4125... :(

You need to turn FlexStep on. Press PGM, then FUNC, and F3. Scroll down to FlexStep and turn it on. You can now program or tune in 142.41.

What option should I use to trunk this system? VHF/UHF or auto P25 or manual P25?
