PSR-500 Light On with Open Squelch?

As the title suggests, I am wondering if there is a setting the will turn on the light when the squelch opens. Anybody know if there is or how to turn do it?

Did you try alert mode ?

Easiest way is with Win500 software, set backlight to On in Alerts.
