I half expect someone to jump down my throat and tell me to read more.... I've been on a steep learning curve since I brought home this very cool scanner yesterday. My question is, when using the SRCH function I've been using FrL/O to jump past what I'm guessing is interference and encryption...this doesn't lock out that freq for future searches does it?

Yes it does lock it out from future searches and spectrum sweeper. You can remove them from the lockout list by Pressing PGM then F3(GLOB). Scroll down to SRCH L/Outs, then press SEL and edit them out from there...

If you have software, you can also edit the lockout list there.
