PSR 500 stuck

I have a PSR500 that seems to be stuck. It says it is scanning but at the bottom it is stuck on the first conventional frequency. If I hit scan it will just move to the next conventional frequency. I ajust the squelch and it does nothing. I tried reloading from Win500 and nothing. Any Ideas?

Is only the 4th line stuck (do you see the scan list numbers) or does it show just like it would if it was receiving the frequency?

Try this

Try taking the back off of the radio and making sure everything is plugged in securely.

Also look at the screw near the antenna......see pics

Yes it is only the 4th line. It does not seem to be receiving anything though. I have another PSR500 that receives while I hear nothing on the stuck one.

Was it the screw or the connector between the boards?

A chunk of foam in there wouldn't hurt.

Seemed to be the connector. I seperated the boards and reconnected them and everything seems fine.
