Now might be a good time to check out some software to program it, you'll find it allot easier that way.

My recommendation is to download software as well. Try and it will make figuring out the radio a lot easier.

My first time I had to reset the radio four times before getting it to scan ISP

I highly recommend Win500 for programming. I just wish there was a counterpart for the 396. UASD is rather mediocre IMHO.

Run around the block around 40 times and then have 2 glasses of wine, that might help.
