I have tried the firmware updates from GRE to both the CPU and to the DSP.
I have downloaded the RR database.
I have also tried the pro 96 import. Still nothing. It appears that I have good signal strength but the scanner almost never stops, and even when it does finally stop I don't hear a thing.

Does anyone have a working program for this scanner they could post or email?

I should note the program I am using in the mobile works fine in the GRE 500 portable. I am certain there is some check box I just haven't clicked yet.

I programmed my PSR-600 manually so don't have a file, but I do have a suggestion. Pick any TGRP object, go PROG, EDIT, CURR, and scroll down to the TSYS line, and hit SEL. When I set up the ARMER TSYS I had the type set to MOT 800/900. Problem. The type needs to be set to P25 Auto or P25 Manual. I'm not sure which is best, but I picked P25 manual because I programmed my own table. Either way, once I switched to P25 the PSR-600 finally decided to listen to all of those TGRP's I programmed into it. Apparently MOT 800/900 only works with Motorola systems that use the 3600 baud control channel. ARMER, I believe is a 9600 baud. Weird problem with a weird solution I know, but that's what worked for me. Good luck.
