Psr 600 power adapter

Hey, does anyone know where to order or buy a psr 600 ac to dc power adapter in Canada? I just bought another scanner to play with and it only came with the dc vehicle cord. I know the ones from Whistler work as well but I can't find anything online from Canada to order. Amazon has some that look cheap and not guaranteed to work. If I order one from whistler USA it comes to 70$ shipped here!

I ordered the AC Adapter for the Whistler 1065 from Whistler direct. Works like a charm.

I forgot to mention, it was for my PSR 600 as well. I don't remember what i paid, but it wasn't 70 bucks.

In Canada if you order from the states it's a rip off now with the exchange and international shipping. That's why I'm asking if anyone knows of anything in Canada

I concur the Whistler Adapters are
a. Smaller then the huge Wall Wart
b. Quieter from an RF point

Do you have a 12 volt power supply?

I use the 12 volt cord/plug and run my scanner from a 12 volt power supply, plus a few ham and GMRS radios. Helps, since only uses outlet plug.

I don't think I've ever used the factory AC adapter on my 600. 12v is 12v, as long as it's regulated and clean.
Any decent quality 12v adapter will work.

I ended up at the source and found a universal 12 volt plug in adapter with 7 tips and 1 that fit perfectly so that will do the job for 30$
It's been working perfectly for 5 hours now.

Glad you got it sorted out. The Source in my area has nothing but cell phones.
