Based on the posts here, I think I have decided to get a 600 instead of a 996.
That being said, can anyone confirm that the adapter for the 2096 is the same as the 600? My 2096 is already wired up in my truck, and if all I need to do is change radios without rewiring, that would make this decision even easier.
