PSR-800 500Mhz birdies

Has anyone else experienced a problem with multiple birdies on the PSR-800 in the uhf range? In my area many frequencies and systems are 500 Mhz including the neighboring county's digital trunked system which is an important listen. Due to the birdies many frequencies don't come in especially P25 ones. And that was one of he main reaspns I bought the radio. But the good news is the 800 Mhz stuff comes in as good as I can get it without an outdoor antenna. Still...
