I would like if someone with a PSR-800 could show all of the possible display configurations that are capable with trunked systems and conventional channels.

My personal preference, if it's even possible, would be to have one set up as follows:

For trunked channels:

Icons
Object Type/Status
Scanlist
System Name
Talkgroup Name
Talkgroup Details

For conventional channels:
Icons
Object Type/Status
Scanlist
Channel Name
Frequency
Tone/NAC

If it would be necessary to see the Trunked Site or Radio ID, I would gladly omit the line describing the Object Type/Status. It would be wonderful if the Type portion could be removed altogether and the Status portion could be moved to the top line, squeezed in.

I don't think it can :-( but would love to see the "Frequency" displayed on Conventional "channels", when a scan stops on one.

Any ideas?

I love all the info on the display of my PSR800. I have it set for trunked systems to show:

Alpha Tag and TGID
System name and site name
Radio ID, Voice Channel and Control Channel Frequency
Mode

For conventional:
Scan list name
Alpha Tag, Type
Frequency and CTCSS/DCS/NAC if any
Mode

Go into the "settings" menu and uncheck the "Simple Display" option. This will show the frequency and any assigned CTCSS/DCS codes.

Simple Display

By default, the PSR-800 operates with a simplified display that
only shows object and Scanlist names. To see more information
about objects, disable this option. This option must be
unchecked to view detailed frequency, talkgroup ID, Radio ID or
CTCSS and DCS squelch code information.

Good Luck,
Keith

Keith - was out of town on work recently, so just getting back to this. I'll do this now, and give it a try. Thank you!
