PSR-800 and Alpha Tags

Is there a way to group select Alpha Tags to be changed all at once? After importing a text file with conventional frequencies all the Alpha Tags are labeled New Channel and it is very frustrating trying to change over 100 Alpha Tags when all I want to do is change it from New Channel to something more appropriate.

The help files seem to indicate no way to do group change the Alpha Tags.

I like to use the clipboard import when I'm working with larger groups of frequencies. I usually set up the list in Excel and get the list like I want it. This way you can sort the list by frequency or alpha tag if you like.



Once this window opens, you click on the column headings; a drop down menu will appear so you can select what the column is. Then click on import.



From here you can go into the conventional frequency tab and set the scanlist and any other attributes for your frequencies.
