PSR-800 Clock Not Working

New PSR-800 user here - love the radio so far, but have one little quirk that I feel I'm doing something wrong and hope someone can help...I set the clock (either via the radio or through the software and it then displays fine, however the seconds and time never advance from that point. If I go back later in the day, the date and time are still set to the original time I entered it. Tried pulling bats out to reset - no luck...I reset it and there she sits displaying the same thing all day long!

Is there something to set to have the clock on/off? Gotta be something I'm missing.

FWIW, I've had mine for all of 2 days at this point. First thing I did was set date/time right on the radio, it's been good ever since, no additional steps.

try setting the clock through the software click the Scanner/SDCard click the 2nd to the last option, Set Real time to Computer Time, make sure your scanner is attached to the computer, this should work

It lets me set the date / time both via the radio and software but the clock never continues on (for example the seconds never keep counting onward etc...)...very weird.

My clock displays only when the radio is off but it runs and the seconds do advance. It sounds to me like you have a bad clock chip. Open a ticket with GRECOM USA and they should help you out. The clock is used for a number of logging functions so you really should have it fixed.

jackj, sound like GRE might be thinking the same thing, Unfortunately I had to send it in for repair. Will keep everyone posted on what happens etc...she'll be missed! LOL!
