EZ Scan 1.05 Installer:
EZScan v1.05.exe
I had to install the v1.03 from their site and look for the update. The manual is with the installer.
User manual 01-09-2012:
EZScanDG_EN 01-09-2012.pdf
Awesome thanks Mike,
This really simplifies being able to add the updated manual to my ipad.
Found a little bug
After the update i unplugged the radio from the usb and the battery level indicator on the radio went to Empty zilch nada zero nothing and stayed that way until i shut the radio off and turned it back on.
Stil a full 20 minutes to write essentially the same information it only takes 2 minutes (or less) to write to the HP-1. Just flat out ridiculous, how long it takes to do any read/write operation to this thing. WTF are they using, morse code?
Yup, me too. It also looks like the voltages values in EZ Scan are at minimum backwards between NiMH and Alkaline?

A little window and progress screen named "Copy Library to Scanner" has been running 40+ minutes.
Shoot, I just remembered, I have another 800 in the truck, lol.
The fastest way to copy, as mentioned, is with an external USB card reader. However, 40 minutes is excessive unless you have a huge list of frequencies. I have systems for several counties in three states plus conventional frequencies for major airports (Detroit and Chicago) and upload times are well under 5 minutes to the scanner. With the reader, two minutes is the norm.

He said library, which means he is trying to copy the entire RR DB via the USB cable, which takes about 30 seconds via a card reader.
