PSR-800: PSR-800 in the car

I'm using this PSR-800 in my car i have a Amplified speaker i'm using on it.So when it's Plugged in the scanner i get some engine noise and a hissing sound how can i get this problem fixed?

Sounds like a grounding issue with the amplified speaker

I run my 800 in the car using both a RS amp speaker ((21-541a) and sometimes a Speco Amp speaker (AES-4) plugged directly to the DC receptical on the car. No engine noise. Sounds more like you need to make sure the car power source, not speaker is grounded properly.

ok i ran a ground wire from the speaker to the battery still the same problem.
