Psr-800 & pawm25

Hello, I;m new to the site and scanning in general and just picked up a PSR-800 recently and I have played around with it and the ez scan software and I have a question. I checked the scanner and the site and it seems like all the Freq. for the PAWM25 system are programmed in correctly and the talk groups are all there, I was wondering if most of this system is encrypted or in the clear? I seem to only really hear parts of the call like ill hear dispatch receive a call but i never hear the call, specifically for wylie witch i want to hear most of all.

Sorry for the wall of text. Any help would be appreciated!

Wylie is on the Plano Allen Wylie Murphy system, not PAWM25.

HA. Im an idiot.. When i originally read that i was thinking you put in the TxWarn P25 system.
My apologies..

Ill step out of the convo now as i dont own a PSR-800.. Sorry..
If you can hold on a talk group try that first..
So say Wylie PD dispatch.. Hold on that and see what happens..
Also make sure you are in a good reception area.
