Hello, I'm new to the scanner scene and am having problems adding a P25 trunksystem to my scanner. Are there any tutorials or can someone give my advice on how properly add this using Ez Scan Digital. Regards.

"Standard" loads are the same for any trunked system - P25 or otherwise. Are you having problems with just P25 systems or when trying to load any system?

Assuming the system is in the library in EZ Scan (or on the radio), it should be as simple as selecting the system by State and County/City and then pressing import in EZ Scan.

Step by step if needed (hopefully I didn't miss anything!)

* Start a new VFolder: Select File->New Configuration - select an empty VFolder

* Click on the Library Import tab at the bottom of EZ SCan

* Using the "Select Type" pulldown, select "Standard"

* Select the State you want on the left

* Double-Click "Counties/Cities" under "Data Type"

* Click on the County you want from the list on the left

* Double-click on "Systems" in the "Data Type" window

* Click on the BOX to the left of the system you want to import (left side)

* Press the "Import Selected Channels" on the lower right side of the same page

* Select a scanlist to import into (typically Scanlist 001 is selected by default)

* Press the "Import Channels" button below the scanlist selection window

Now copy the new VFolder to your radio

* Turn the radio off

* Plug the provided cable into the radio and into the PC

* Select SCanner/SD Card menu option on the top of EZ Scan

* Select the first option -- "Copy Configuration to Scanner"

* Follow the on-scene pop-ups/prompts

* Once the copy is complete, use the Windows "Safely Release SD card/external drive" function to avoid SD card corruption

* Remove the cable.

* Power the radio up

* If necessary, press MENU and scroll to the load VFolder option and load up the VFolder you just created.

* Press Scan on the radio MENU

Hope this helps!
