Hi psr-800 owners,

Does anyone know where the data for the recordings are stored while they're on the SD card? I can see the audio files in the REC folder but I can't seem to find any config while where the System/TGID/RadioID/Alphatag is associated with all these files. Still the software is able to find it when you "Get List" in the recording tab.

I've looked for config files as well as the .AU file metadata in VLC player. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone know how the psr-800 stores this data? I want to pull it out manually so I can organize the files better.

it's in the REC directory. A file named ARINDEX.DAT, but it's not a flat text file. It looks like a proprietary database file.

Thanks, I suspected that was it. That's kind of annoying of GRE to not provide a user readable record log. I understand the need to protect the RR library data, but recording data should be ours to play with.

The ARINDEX file is just a binary file that stores how many entries have been recorded. The detailed information for each entry is actually stored within the AU file itself. Open up an AU file in a hex editor and you'll see it as part of the file.
