PSR-800 Recording

not sure if i am missing something....
i have a channel set to record automatically, but is there a way to record a channel say but just pushing a button? or do you have to go thru the full channel setup....for example you hear a unit go on the scene with a fire and you want to start recording.....

I believe you have more than one button to press. If the channel is active, hit the pause key, then menu, then scroll UP to the record option and hit select. Then hit the left cursor key, select key to save. At that point it should start scanning again.

Not one key by a longshot.

There is no "on the fly, record now" capability. The object is either set to record or not.
