Hi all!

I have tried repeatedly to make my 800 scan conventional frequencies but I'm having zero luck. The scan list is enabled and I can browse the objects in it, however, when I go to scan them it says "Nothing to scan". My trunk groups scan just fine, conventional frequencies not at all.

I'm running the latest 1.5 firmware and the latest Ez scan software. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
I should also note that nothing, so far as I can tell appears locked out, such that the scanner should skip it.

Regards!

Something not set up right somewhere. I scan marine VHF, airband, milair, amateur, ps, etc just fine.

You have proper scanlists AND scansets enabled?

"Nothing to scan" usually means that you don't have any scan lists enabled. Double check to see if the scan list that contains your conventional analog channels has a check mark next to it and not a square. If that isn't your problem then check your analog channels in EZScan to make sure the frequencies are entered correctly. If that doesn't fix it, I'm lost. Sorry

I'm hoping it's just something I'm overlooking, sadly I have no idea what that is.

I have no idea what I did but it's working now. All I did was change a display setting for conventional frequencies and now it works. Still seems weird to me but it's working (apparently) for now, hopefully it stays this way.

Thanks for the replies!

The frequencies all looked valid in the Conventional tab and all enabled. They're working now but all I change was a display setting for Conventional frequencies and all seems well. But why that should fix it I have no idea.

If the scanlist that these frequencies were saved to was checked, but the list was not assigned to an active scanset that could also cause the "Nothing to Scan" message.

In the PC Application, enable the advanced tab if it is not already (it can be enabled in the Advanced Menu).

On the Advanced tab, check the Scan Sets area on the upper right side of the screen.

In order for a scanlist to be scanned, it must be enabled on the General Settings Tab, and be a member of an enabled scan set.

That was apparently the problem, thanks!!

Yeah I had the Scan Sets all messed up, it's sorted out now. Thanks so much for taking the time to help! :)
