Does anyone here have one of these scanners? I just got mine today and i installed the software a few days ago to play. Or learn it. Thought i did. But now im worried i deleted my SD card with what i had on the software. I cant hear a thing on the radio. I live in clinton right by the tower here so i have a good signal. Even loading vigo county all talkgroups and such i dont hear anything. I can get static when i turn the sq all the way down.......... Wanted to ask here before the gre forum to see if anyone had any ideas.

Have you looked at the info in the software to make sure you have it programmed correctly? If you read the card into the software you can see the trunked systems from the trunked systems tab. You may have to enable that tab under the advanced menu option up on the tool bar.

You may want to start over and import it again. Then overwrite the data on the card using the "prepare" option to make sure you have it correct.

My issue was in the site list. Still not sure what all sites i should choose but i have audio now

Add the Parke, Vermillion and Warren county talkgroups or a wildcard also, dont forget about ISP Regions 1 (D14 TGs) and 3 (D53TGs) talkgroups...

Ive had this thing for 2 weeks still trying to figure out all the software options

And thanks to you for helping out where those data decode thresholds are in the software. Hope that site list works for you. Sick of the "donald duck" voice transmissions on it. My 106 NEVER did that.

Ahh we can help out each other lol. When it sounds strange is the signal high? Mine did that and i pressed the ATT button until it shows a G and A. Sounded much better. Its the attenuater (spelling?) Or something. Not sure what it does but made it sound better. But im right by a tower.
