PSR500/600 Firmware Canada

Greetings,

When updating my firmware to 2.1 using CPUUpdater_PSR-500-600-BootF10F11_U2.1 from GRE America I get invalid runtime code detected. I think it's because I have the Canadian version but I'm using the American firmware updater. This is based on reading other thread. It seems that GRE used to have two versions of the firmware Canada and US. Now, however, on the GRE America site I only see one version.

Does anyone know if I'm correct in this assessment? Does anyone have the Canadian version of CPUUpdater_PSR-500-600-BootF10F11_U2.1?

Below is some information that I saved long time ago.
It has been a long time since I updated mine so it is somewhat confusing.
I should have these files here somewhere.

The PSR-500 and PSR-600 have two different updater EXEs.
Which one you use depends on which version of BOOT code your scanner contains.

The BOOT code version can be determined by holding down the PROG/PGM button while
turning the scanner on. The first line of the LCD should display: uP Boot Ver:F1.x

My PSR 500 June 2021:
++++ My PSR 500 shows- uP Boot Ver:F1.0 June 2021
++++ My PSR 500 shows- uP App: Ver:U2.0 June 2021

If you have "Boot Ver" F1.4 or higher, use: CPUUpdater_PSR500-600_U2.3_Boot1.4.EXE

****Otherwise (Boot Ver less than 1.4), use: CPUUpdater_PSR500-600_U2.3_Boot1.0.EXE****

There's a third updater EXE for the Canadian PSR-500/600: CPUUpdater_PSR500-600_U2.3_CAN.EXE.
Use this if the firmware version display is of the form: uP BootVer:Cx.y
(note the 'C' in the version).
