I purchased a new scanner about a month ago, but had to set it aside until now.
I purchased the WIN500 software but have not learned how to use it yet. I have read a lot here and learned a lot about different issues, but I still have not grasped the basics of using the software/radio.
I have sucsessfully downloaded freqs for my area, (Faulkner County AR) but feel that I do not have all the ones I want. I never see anything on the scanner that refers to the Conway PD.
I am going to be taking a trip soon, and would like to download freq's for the area I will be travelling in. (Conway AR to Corpus Christi TX) When I download the new frequencies, is that going to over write the ones I have now? Do I need to create new folders for each area? I often get an error stateing I am only allowed 32 channels, or something like that.
Is there a tread here that someone can point me to that will give a newbie instructions on how to use the WIN500 software with the PSR500. I am sure it is here, but have not found it yet.
