psr500 FUNC problems

I just got my new psr500 today. This is one great scanner. I am having problems with the func button. The manual says to turn a scan list on and off from 11-20 to push the func button and hit the number you want on or off. It also says to turn the pri on and off to use the func button. This does not work. What am I doing wrong?? Can the func button be turned on or off??Please help!!

Press FUNC and the F will show up on the display, you don't press them at the same time.

Duh! I was holding down the func button and then pushing the other buttons. I have to push the func button, let go and then push the other button. I am just to excited I guess or maybe a brain fart. Thanks for bringing me back to reality. Hahahahaha!
