PSR600 Going From Scan to Man

When I want to monitor a busy trunk channel, I push the "Man" button. When I do this, the audio goes away. It comes back I guess after the next transmission is made but this seems strange. This is my third 600 and do not recall the other two doing this as this is a function I have performed quite frequently.

Thoughts as to why this is happening? I hope it's something stupid!!

I usually press pause..when I press man it sometimes changes scan lists, then you have to manually go back to the channel you want

Like I said, I was hoping for something stupid and it was. Pressing "Pause" is what I used to do, not "Man". Thanks for the refresher course!! It's been several months since I last used one of these...guess I need to re-read the manual.
