psr800 downgrade

Hopefully someone can chime in. Is there a way to downgrade a 4.6 fw/3.1 dsp to 4.5 to prevent the timebomb from kicking in. My unit still receives dmr probably cause i never set the clock.

I tried to run the firmware tool and I am unable to select upgrade to select the firmware file i have saved.

Yes Theoretically as of July 2017, definitively before July.

if your on the early DSP 3.1.it can be done if you still receive DMR and are on a July date, you may be on early 3.1...otherwise whistler has screwed you and you can't do it.

You will need to use the grefwtool, the process is the same and upgrading except you select older or RS firmware that must already be on your PC.

. YOU do this at your own risk as you may end up stuck in the update without any firmware.
