PSR800 EZScan Update allows importing of audio files

I noticed yesterday after updating the EZ Scan software to 1.07, that it shows 'read disk' in the audio tab now. So now I can read audio files I copied/moved to my computer in the past, and still see all the info attached to them. This is a nice addition and feature I wanted so I could quickly move audio files off the SD card onto my computer, then look at them at another time. Or just get them off the scanner, then return the scanner to scanning and go through them on the computer.

I'm still getting errors though getting the audio files off the scanner. So nothing has changed there. But glad they added this feature.

The software currently on my computer is version 1.06

When I "check for software update" it comes back saying the current software (once again, 1.06 in my case) is up to date. What the huh?? If 1.07 is the newest, how can 1.06 be up to date?

Methinks there are a couple of screws loose with my EZScan software LOL. Either that or my software isn't properly communicating with GRE.

The update is a beta, so you will only find it at GRE's website. Its a CPU/DSP/Software update so you should do all 3 in that order as it says in the instructions.

No problem, I guess I should of linked and explained, but since I posted about the firmware update the same day I thought people would know. But then it became a sticky and moved up the forum.

I've been reading about the firmware update, but I didn't realize it was a package deal. Thanks again for the info, I should be upgraded shortly.
