psr800 tone recording

Apparently the 800 recording playback tracks ct/dcs tones for spectrum/limit/service searches. If this is so (an assumption at this point), is there a way to get it to track tones for programmed frequencies set to 'tone search'?

so when search record is enabled (limit, spectrum, service) the playback from the receiver flashes the ct/dcs tone with the recording, which is good. any ideas on how to display the tone when a specific frequency is programmed and tone is set to "search" and transmission is recorded?
