Great far catch even with a little bit of noise. Interesting you
guys are creating a new part of the hobby (WEFAX DXing) lol
Signal was very weak on the first fax and then as the night went on the signal got a lot stronger. Trying to pick up a real long-distance fax but not lucky enough so far, I'll keep trying.

A time I lived in a good area, I had a T3FD up abot 40 foot. I could get just about all the domestic marine broadcasts and a couple from UK and Australia.
Now I live in a bad area and have an 84 foot ZEPP+tuner. Noise is like S9 on lower bands. Pt Rayes, Boston, and New Orleans only when conditions are good. It all comes and goes.
So, it is all about your noise environment and antenna.

I Have injured my knee a couple of weeks ago and would like to change my antenna from long-wire to my MFJ 1886TR antenna but just too much pain in the knee to be messing around doing that now, but plan on setting up both antennas so I can switch between them maybe in a week or two if I don't have to go into the hospital for an operation. I know the loop antenna is quieter then the long-wire antenna. I just received my three-way antenna splitter so hopefully soon I can do this.
