Does anyone in the Colorado area use streaming audio as their primary source of listening to their favorite public safety department?

I am thinking of using a computer that does nothing but show weather radar 24 hours a day in my office. Since it is hard to pick up Denver PD/FD from my office location I was going to use that computer to stream Denver all day through a set of computer speakers...

Anyone else do this? I have a problem with not being able to control the scanner when something happens, but I am guessing I will get use to it....

Yes Dave due to my remote location I've been doing that for years, monitor the entire metro area almost on-line exclusively.

Laptop is normally running Denver, South Metro and West Metro feeds

iPad has Aurora and North Metro feeds

Then have two desktop computers fed into house wide speakers one dedicated to CSP feed and the 2nd one varies based on breaking news.
