A good friend of mine Tom Bucker who is now deceased, was a member of the King County Search and Rescue. He had a large Ford Bronco that he used for his radios and believe me, he had no less than 20 radios installed in it along with a few scanners. Since he was also a Techinical Class HAM, he had listings of all public service and other frequencies in the Puget Sound area. I have a copy of that listing. It's organized into scan banks and has the frequencies, including trunking, plus talk group ID's. I have moved to Kansas (I miss Federal Way a lot, but not the rain), and have no use for the listings anymore. I would like to share these listings with you people in the Puget Sound area that love to scan. You can send me email from here. Send me your mailing address and I'll send you a copy of the listing for free. The only requirement that I have is that you share it with your friends. All frequencies are active. I think he even had new frequencies that weren't even active when he made the listing but may be active now. So, send me your address and I'll send you the listing. Let me know how you like it when you get it. I wish there was some way I could just upload it in Acrobat format so you can just download it. Here in Kansas, the Highway Patrol is moving to digital systems (APCO25) which means in order to hear them, you need a Pro 96 or Uniden equivelant to hear them. The forum I'm in - the Kansas Radio Discussion Forum, has a few Highway Patrol folks keeping us informed on frequency changes, etc. I hope there are some WSP folks in this forum helping Washington folks out. After all, the frequencies belong to the public.
