Purchased a Pro-106

I received my new RS Pro=106. I live in Slidell, Louisiana and am trying to setup for the police/public safety in the area. The book is massive and I am just not comprehending for some reason. Can anyone give me step by step instructions that a "newbie" can understand??? PLEASE!!!!!

Also ask in your state forum for somebody that is local that can either give you a file (assuming you have the usb cable) or someone you can clone your radio with a simple stereo cable.
