Nope, I am going to have a listen to some of the small LTR systems in the area if I am in the area again in case they are there.

It specifically says Puslinch was not part of the agreement with Bell at the time, but that has no doubt changed.
Checking my Unitrunker logs, I see t/gs 21120 and 21168 have appeared on my system in the last 3 weeks as well. They're not in the db here but they are in the proper range to be associated with Wellington County.

Apparently it is an LTR system, 400 Mhz, Possibly Kenwood portables.
153.7700 paging but operations on UHF apparently. LTR
I remember something about Erin Fire being on a Passport system somewhere around 420MHz.
There are a couple of passport LTR;s listed in the RR DB for business use, one is only two channels to that might be it, will have to put the frequencies into the scanner conventionally and see if I catch fire transmissions. The dispatch and the fire halls were on 153.7700 but not the trucks and portables.

Confirming tonight that an in-progress fire call for Rockwood Fire Dept. appears to be on the M R C Systems Inc. trunk licensed to the location of Puslinch Nickrock tower in the TAFL.
Frequencies are 420.1125 / 420.2125 / 420.3125 / 420.4125. Audio is decoding with DSD+ DMR/TRBO mode enabled. I haven't had a chance to see if this system is cross-coupled to the M R C Systems Inc. site (different frequencies of course) over near Brisbane (Erin) or not.
I don't think this system is in the database here yet. More data to follow but for now the call has been terminated. Page-out for the call was on 153.770. I would expect the Puslinch Fire Department will be on this one too.

Nope, that Rockwood call last night was ending just as I found them and I've been doing ATC-related real work all day. I'll record 153.770 during the evenings this week and see if I can grab the different departments conducting pager tests so we know who we might be looking for.

Rockwood has it's own talkgroup on Fleetnet and I have heard them use it so it is just Puslinch we are looking for, keep in mind those LTR passport systems might not work on the scanner in trunking mode, you might have to put the channels in conventionally and most of the talking will be on the first channel anyways.
It's not Passport, it's a MotoTRBO system which ATCTech is quite good at deciphering.

It may not have been Rockwood, the timing was very coincidental but in researching the one street name I heard it does not cross-reference to Rockwood. It does however show up as a street in Fergus, and it was a Pumper 20 that I heard. If anybody knows which department has a Pumper 20 that could narrow it down further.
Thanks for the compliment on deciphering TRBO, however I am confused as to what frequencies belong to what system when I'm seeing things in the TAFL that don't seem to jive on the air. For example, 2 of the 4 freqs. listed as the MRC system in Puslinch have the regular momentry pulses of an LTR system. From what I read with Motorola, one can be upgraded to the other. Could that be a clue as to what it what up there?

Rockwood does have a Pumper 20. Fergus is part of Centre Wellington and is Station 40.
I'm wondering of the two systems can coexist? Set each system up so the shared frequencies are only used when the system is extremely busy?

Another thought is the Fleetnet talkgroup that has been reported is a patch between the TRBO system and another fire department in the area.
