I did, then put it into a spiral bound cover. (I did it at work though... Shhh! Don't tell :) )

Instead of printing it at home, perhaps take it to a Kinkos or something like that. Likely wouldn't cost a whole heck of a lot and would save your home printer a workout. If you do decide to print it at home, see if your printer will do 2 sided printing and maybe set the Quality level to 'draft' or something similar. Saves on ink, and speeds things up considerably.

There is a piece of software out there called Quite Imposing. I used it when I worked at Kinkos a while back.

It's a really cool PDF manipulation program, that lets you change the format of PDF files.

If you're smart enough to register the paper in your printer properly, it's easy to print what would be 140 pages, on less than 40 sheets of paper.

There is a trial version available, but you'll need to contact them to request a trial version that doesn't mark your work with a red X.

You also need to have a full version of Adobe Acrobat. The free reader won't work.

I did, but using Acrobat I printed 4 pages per page, both sides, so I got it down to about 16 sheets.

Printing doesn't help much though, it's still somewhat incomprehensible. A few video tutorials would help lots.

Hee hee hee! Did exactly the same thing--print on two-sided, three-whole punches,--twice, first with the earlier manual and second with the new one. Did that one on Xmas Eve day, when I was the only one who came in to "work" on my floor.

I prefer the PDF file as you can search things and jump right to all occurrences of your key word.

I don't think anyone was proposing deleting the pdf after printing, so it's not like you have to decide between them.

I just find it darned difficult to cuddle up in bed with a pdf. Unless maybe you're willing to spend hundred$ on an e-book reader.

I also had a printed copy of the 600 manual given to me.. read it at night in bed but maybe I was too tired I never understood it.

I picked up a new 74XL inkjet cartridge $35.00 and some paper $5.00 for my HP C4480 and printed all of it on one side of the paper then went to the GRE site and printed all the info I could find there for the PSR500/600. Over 200 pages punched them and put them in a binder. This will be handy on the road in a few years when I can't remember how to program the thing.

This is how I do it. By the time I wake up I've learned another 1% of the concepts. Add that up after reading it multiple times and eventually I learn something.

Are you privy to free printed manuals? Linkage please. TIA

Download the PDF copy (FREE) , print it yourself or get a local print shop to print it.. POINT being you will pay for it 1 way or the othe unless you find someone that wlll print it for you for free.
