Is it possible to put the Nascar team frequencies into the data base so they can be downloaded? I find it to be a pain to manually enter everything.

I understand they are in the wiki. What I'm asking is if it can be put into a database like every other system so it can be downloaded using programming software.

If they are kept in a columnar or tabled format, many software packages can copy / paste them. FreeScan, for example, has such a tool, and many BuTel products have a 'paste special' function that I understand also works with data like this.

It may also be possible to use Excel or Open Office to copy / paste them.

So there are options besides manually entering data.

Again, I'd want to make it painless as possible. I just want to be able to download it like every other system.

If I am not wrong they change from track to track and do not use the same ones all the time.

As well, sometimes frequencies are not provided until after the race has started. The database would be outdated or incomplete as soon as the flag was dropped.

Wiki and Close Call or Search seems to be the best options.

No they don't. Big teams stay the same. Small teams might change but it's done at the beginning of the year.

This comes up every year about putting in the database, I went through and updated the wiki, took a bit over an hour and used one of the links I found last time I updated it in March 2014.
I also updated my freescan nascar file.
Dont forget anyone with an account here can edit wikis.

Jayski's usually after several races will post this years frequencies as Im sure to verify they are correct and teams are more stable. So there maybe other changes yet this year.

Rule of thumb is that frequencies follow the car and owner, not the driver.

Thanks for handling the Wiki :D

Amazing how the information is/was available, but "THEY" want, need, must have
